An ordinary guy from Berlin who is making his vision come true.

As a rule, I do extraordinary things. What is actually quite ordinary: making mistakes, learning from them, taking responsibility. And now and then I manage to be myself.

At some point I understood:

And the hardest part of it is the simplest — being yourself. Everything I have built since is a by-product of that.

Being an entrepreneur is a side thing for me. What I mean by it has little to do with companies: carrying responsibility and leading a family. The rest is tools.

The idea

Almost ten years ago I had an idea: people all over the world pay for what nature gives them. It would not have to be this way.

The way there seemed clear to me. People need access — to living space, to food, to education. I worked on that for nine years.

I thought you start with the house. You start with the person. You can build someone a house and they still do not live in it. You can put education in front of them and they do not take it. Not because they are ungrateful — but because they are walking a path they did not choose.

So first comes access to yourself. The rest comes after, and it comes more easily.

From the association to here

It started with an association that collected donations. Then came companies that carry themselves. Both times the goal was the same.

The reason for the switch is simple: donations create dependence, revenue does not. Whoever lives on handouts has to please. Whoever sells has to deliver. The second is more honest — for both sides.

The companies have become a group: HIGHERPlan. The next step is called E.W.I.G. — the concept that turns PROJECT: HOME into a place where people actually live. No longer just a drawing.

How we build it

That is humility and a business model at the same time. I build things that take work off other people, and I get paid for it. Whoever serves does not stand above the other — and whoever gets paid does not have to ask.

What I have learned

For six years I worked with people from all over the world — first in coaching, then on what comes after it: systems for coaches, consultants and companies. Software that takes over the work I used to do by hand.

With some of them I work together today. That is the part of my work I value most — not because it makes a good story, but because it can be checked: you can ask them.

What I am not

Not a coach, not a guru, not a saviour of this world. Whoever wants to save people keeps them small.

And not a visionary with a finished plan: much of what I talk about is being built right now.
